TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking & Payment
A place at a VELOVIA camp is confirmed after receipt of a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the start of the camp. Payments are accepted by bank transfer only. Payment details are provided personally after the participant's application has been reviewed and accepted.
2. Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days before the camp: refund of payments made minus a EUR 100 administrative fee. Less than 30 days before the camp: payments are non-refundable. A participant may transfer their place to another rider, subject to VELOVIA approval and a EUR 100 administration fee.
3. Participation Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old and in suitable physical condition for multi-day road cycling in mountain terrain. A certified cycling helmet is mandatory on every ride. VELOVIA provides white cycling helmets free of charge for use during the camp. Riders should be comfortable with routes ranging from 75–114 km and 1,463–2,342 m of climbing.
4. Insurance & Liability
VELOVIA provides additional group sports accident insurance during the camp. Participants must also hold valid personal health or sports insurance. Cycling involves inherent risks and all participants acknowledge and accept these risks. A separate participation and liability declaration is signed before the camp.
5. Changes to the Programme
VELOVIA reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, activities or services due to weather conditions, road closures, safety considerations or circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will be made with participant safety and overall experience in mind.
6. Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be captured during the camp and used for VELOVIA marketing, website, social media and promotional purposes. Detailed consent forms are completed separately before the start of the camp.
